Tom Hardy Raises $72,000 for Charity

Tom Hardy has helped save a homeless charity in his native U.K. from closure by spearheading a $72,000 (?45,000) fundraising campaign.

The Inception star is a patron of FLACK Cambridge, an organisation which needed the cash to survive.

Hardy took on the campaign and urged his fans to donate to the cause - and he's celebrating after smashing the total.

In a post on his fundraising page, he writes, "100 thank you so much. FLACK is no longer facing immediate closure.

"Now their work really begins, FLACK still needs our support - if you haven't already donated please do".
