Charlie Sheen's wife ok after emergency surgery

Charlie Sheen's pregnant wife Brooke Mueller is recovering at the couple's Los Angeles home after undergoing emergency gall bladder surgery last week.

The mother-to-be was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. after experiencing pains in her abdomen.

She had an emergency procedure - which can be risky in the early stages of pregnancy - and spent five days recuperating at the hospital before being discharged.

The couple's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, has insisted that Mueller - who was well enough to attend the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday - is making a good recovery and stressed that the surgery was not linked to Mueller's pregnancy.
