Charlize Theron says the true test of a superhero would be how they perform when drunk.
The actress stars alongside Will Smith in 'Hancock', which features a washed up superhero, and says it stands out from other films in the genre.
She told MTV: "Well, I don't really want to compare it to other superhero films, because I think this one just kicks the ass of all other superhero films. And by the way, Will paid me to say that, so do not hold me accountable. Other Marvel superhero films, do not come after me.
"The ultimate test for a superhero is how well do you fly drunk? That's what I would say. I think we should make a film and we should just do those kinds of challenges. We should just see how well Spider-Man shoots his spiderwebs when drunk."
The actress admitted she hadn't had much experience of the genre while growing up, adding: "I didn't really grow up with comic books. I grew up on a small farm in Africa with no brothers, so I didn't really have access to them. But I like them when they push the envelope, and they give you something different. And I feel like 'Hancock' is as different and unusual as they come."
