Claire Danes has wed in France.
 
The William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet star exchanged vows with British actor Hugh Dancy in a low-key ceremony, according to Life & Style magazine.
 
The small wedding was attended by family and close friends. The couple met on the set of Evening in 2007. The pair announced its engagement in February (09).

Essence Atkins has also married in California.

The 37-year-old Half and Half star exchanged vows with Jaime Mendez at a ceremony in Pasadena on Saturday (26Sep09).
 
The couple met through an online dating service on Valentines Day last year (14Feb08) - and even offered guests six-month memberships to the website Match.com as wedding favours.

And in further marriage news it's congratulations to Andrew Shue as he is set to wed U.S. TV reporter Amy Robach after a whirlwind romance.
 
The former Melrose Place star separated from his wife Jennifer Hageney last year (08) after 14 years of marriage and began dating Robach, also divorced, earlier this year (09), according to the New York Post.
 
A source tells People.com the couple got engaged last week (ends25Sep09), adding, "They're both very happy."
