Hellraising movie star Colin Farrell turned the air blue at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night (11Jan08), by swearing during a red carpet interview.

The Irish actor, nominated for an acting award for his role in the movi e In Bruges, appeared nervous and twitchy as he was probed by presenter Nancy O'Dell on the Hollwood red carpet.

It was like being taken out of a game

And when pal Eva Mendes crept up and surprised him, Farrell let slip the f-word - forcing quick-witted TV producers to blank out the curse.
