Tom Hanks' actor son Colin is stepping behind the camera to direct a new documentary about bankrupt music retailer Tower Records.
The company was formed in Hanks' native Sacramento, California back in 1960 and became a global music institute, before going bust in 2006.
Hanks' movie will chart the rise and fall of the record store.
He says, "It's an incredibly sad tale that mirrors what happened to the music industry, because of the internet, and how people never go to the record store anymore."
The thirty one year old actor followed in his father's footsteps by becoming an actor, making his debut in 1996 in That Thing You Do!
Since then he has gone on to star in Roswell, Band of Brothers, Orange County and more recently Untraceable and W.
