Hip-hop biopic see’s Cuba play Marley Marl

Marley Marl will be played by Oscar winner, Cuba Gooding JR. in a new biopic about New York’s hip-hop pioneers the Juice Crew.Rap star David Banner is slated to play Biz Markie in the film and newcomer Keke Palmer will portray Roxanne Shante.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, the role of Big Daddy Kane will be filled by Idlewild star Jackie Long.
