Tennant To Quit Doctor Who?.... Doctor Who star David Tennant will quit the hit TV show sooner than expected but is remaining tight lipped about the exact date.
The Scottish actor, who is currently filming his second series as the Time Lord, is keen to avoid being typecast and has already worked out a good time to leave.
His comments follow his predecessor Christopher Eccleston and co-star Billie Piper's short stints on the updated version of the British show.
He says, "It's judging when is the right moment to go. I think I now know how many series I'm going to do - but I think it would be stupid of me to say more than that right now."
