Baldwin Hits Back At Woman Over Nanny Fight

Actor Daniel Baldwin has fired back at a woman seeking a restraining order against him.

Helen Smith claims the Mulholland Falls star left her angry phone and text messages after she fired his goddaughter, Jennifer Keuchler, as her nanny, and she fears he'll go further to make his point.

Smith claims she was left terrified by the messages and she has filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court seeking a temporary restraining order against the actor.

They havechosen to stiff her for over $2,500

But Baldwin states Keuchler "was fired from her nanny position and not compensated for her pre-negotiated time by Greg and Helen Smith".

He states, "I reached out to Greg on his cell phone last week and explained that Jennifer had given up her apartment in San Francisco to come toMalibu for the summer and take care of his two small children. He assured me that he was fully aware of his financial obligation to Jen and would pay her by the end of the week.

"The Smith's did not pay Jen the money that was promised her. They have chosen to stiff her for over $2,500. I am sad that they have gone on theoffensive with such erroneous accusations against my character.

Yes I called Greg and left a message stating the facts. I am Very concerned for the welfare of their children if Greg is travelling and they are to be left without additional supervision.
