Danny Glover was deceived into attending court on Monday(12March 07) by two siblings who said they had a film proposition for the Saw star. Glover, 60, turned up with his lawyer Marty Singer for a meeting at a New York courthouse with Lennox and Lester Parris, but instead they found the brothers standing trial for stock fraud. Singer says, "(Glover) thought it was a conference room, and when he arrived, it was a courtroom." The situation was made worse when the actor was prevented from leaving by a photographer, reports the New York Post. His lawyer adds, "There was a provocation. (Glover) had to shove him aside. I was told that he did not hit the guy."The Parris brothers face fraud charges for selling 28 million shares of now defunct company Queench. They allegedly made $2.55 million (£1.3 million) from the deal.0Comments | Be the first to comment!
