SCHWIMMER TO MAKE WEST END DEBUT
DAVID SCHWIMMER will follow in the footsteps of fellow FRIENDS star MATTHEW PERRY when he makes his London stage debut later this year (05).
Schwimmer, 38, will star in a 13-week run of playwright NEIL LaBUTE's new work SOME GIRLS in the capital's West End.
Some Girls, about an emotionally-distant lothario who revisits four ex-girlfriends before proposing to his current lover, opens on 12 May (05) at London's Gielgud Theatre.
Perry, Schwimmer's co-star in the defunct American TV comedy, appeared in a London production of DAVID MAMET's SEXUAL PERVERSITY IN CHICAGO opposite MINNIE DRIVER in May 2003.
He says, "I've always dreamed of doing a play in London.
"I've never been married or engaged but at this time of my life this play speaks to me about something I and my contemporaries are going through and have gone through.
"It's about relationships and the choices people make, learning to live with those choices, and recovering from the damage done when those choices go wrong."
