SCHWIMMER RELUCTANTLY ACCEPTED GIRAFFE ROLE
Former FRIENDS star DAVID SCHWIMMER was delighted when movie bosses approached him with the idea of voicing an animal in animated film MADAGASCAR - until he realised it was a giraffe.
The actor hoped he'd be asked to voice a powerful jungle cat and was left deflated when it was revealed he'd be a less dangerous animal.
He says, "For me it was always a black panther - sleek, sexy, strong. Of course, I ended up playing a giraffe."
