Mclachlan To Launch His Own Wine....

Desperate Housewives star Kyle McLachlan is launching his own wine.

The actor has teamed up with a vineyard in Washington state to create a Cabernet called Pursued By Bear.

McLachlan told American TV host Regis on Thursday's (29Nov07) Live with Regis & Kelly, "I went in with a friend who's a real winemaker. We made a wine together and it's going to be released in September. It's grown up in Washington state. They are producing some fantastic wine up there, so I made a Cabernet with Tim Dunham of Dunham cellars.

"It's called Pursued By Bear. I challenge you to forget that name. It's actually a Shakespearean stage direction from Winter's Tale. Actors are actually chased off stage by a bear. It's catchy".
