Diego Maradona Injured After Crash

Diego Maradona has escaped with minor injuries after his car crashed into a bus on Monday night (11Jul11).
 
The Argentinian star was driving in the country's capital, Buenos Aires, with his girlfriend Veronica Ojeda when their vehicle collided with a coach.
 
The couple was both hospitalized for treatment - the World Cup-winning player suffered a knee injury and Ojeda hurt her hip, according to local reports.
 
Oscar Sico, director at the Hospital de Ezeiza where the pair was treated, says, "They are in perfect condition...

"They went on their own but have no problems. They can both go home."
