Duffy is set to cover a Wings song after being hand-picked by Sir Paul McCartney.
The 'Mercy Singer' will cover 'Live and Let Die' for 'Heroes', a new fund-raising album for War Child, which sees veteran artists, including the former Beatles and Wings star select songs from their back catalogues and choose present-day artists to cover the tracks.
Speaking about the album, Paul said: "I have been supporting War Child since 1995. Their work with children in war zones saves lives and their work with those who take decisions that help them to do something about it saves even more lives.
"I think Duffy's version of 'Live And Let Die' is great - I was really impressed. The breadth of talent on this project is amazing; it's great that so many people gave their time, energy and support to this initiative. I urge everyone to support War Child."
Other artists selecting songs for the album include David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson and The Clash.
Tracks so far announced include The Kooks' version of The Kinks' 'Victoria', Hot Chip performing 'Transmission', originally recorded by Joy Division, and Beck, who has been asked by Bob Dylan to submit his own take on 'Leopard-skin Pillbox Hat'.
'Heroes' will be released on November 22.
