Duran Duran Cancel Opening Tour Dates

Duran Duran have had to cancel the opening dates of their new U.K. tour so that singer Simon Le Bon can recover from a throat infection.
The newly reformed band who were orginally popular in the 80's were due to play in Newcastle on Wednesday, and then Glasgow on thursday but both of these shows have had to be cancelled.
Taking to his Twitter.com page, Le Bon writes, "Great disappointment, not being able to play the Newcastle and Glasgow shows as planned."
The band is hoping to rearrange the gigs.
