Norton Lands Top Theater Prize

Actor Edward Norton will be honored for his contribution to theater at a glitzy gala in New York on Monday (30Jan12).

Officals at The Signature Theater Company have handpicked Norton to receive the Signature's Playwrights' Award, created to "recognize individuals and organisations who, through their vision and leadership, have placedtheir own signatures upon American theater".

The American History X star landed his breakthrough role in the group's1993 adaptation of Edward Albee's Fragments, and is a trustee and long-time supporter of the company.
