Brad Pitt and Edward Norton are to reunite on screen.The Hollywood actors - who starred together in the critically acclaimed 'Fight Club' in 1999 - will team up again in new political thriller 'State of Play'.Norton will play a congressman whose speedy political rise is threatened by an investigation into the death of his mistress, while Pitt will star as his journalist friend Cal McCaffrey. The pair's friendship is tested to the limit when the reporter begins investigating the scandal.As well as uncovering a high-level political conspiracy which implicates Norton's character, McCaffrey also develops a close relationship with his friend's estranged wife.The film is based on the British TV series of the same name, and will be directed by Kevin MacDonald, who was responsible for 'The Last King of Scotland'.'State of Play' is scheduled to go into production in November, once Norton has finished shooting 'The Incredible Hulk', in which he plays genetically mutated Dr. Bruce Banner.
