Dame Elizabeth Taylor is urging everyone who hasn't seen Michael Jackson's documentary movie This Is It to book a ticket.
The Hollywood legend was close friends with the King of Pop and was devastated by his sudden death in June (09).
Taylor was one of the first people to view the recent film, a montage of rehearsal footage from the star's doomed comeback concerts in London, and she admitted the movie made her cry.
Now she's urging people to get down to their local movie theater so they can witness Jackson's final achievement.
Michael's genius will never be equalled
She tells USA Today, "Michael and I shared a pure and perfect love. Usually, I don't speak publicly about the loss of a loved one. But I am encouraging everyone to please, please see his mastery in This Is It. Michael's genius will never be equalled. Tragically, we shall never see the likes of him again".
Dame Elizabeth Taylor is sick of seeing false rumors about her health splashed across the tabloids, insisting she is perfectly fine following her recent heart surgery.
The 77 year old went under the knife in October (09) to fix a leaky heart valve, and subsequently took to the internet to claim the operation "went off perfectly."
But Taylor was then hit with a flurry of stories speculating about her health, with one U.S. publication reporting she was planning her funeral and saying goodbye to friends.
The Academy Award-winning actress has dismissed the rumors, and she's urging the media to find something more interesting to mull over.
She tells USA Today, "I've lived with people speculating about my health for decades, and I don't say this with sarcasm, but sadly, I've outlived so many who have prematurely buried me. There are so many things in the world that are more important than my health watch."
