Harry Potter star Emma Watson is hoping to make ethical clothing stylish with a new range for teens - after previously branding fair trade fashion"kind of ugly".

The actress admitted in July (09) she was interested in clothing produced conscientiously but that "the stuff's kind of ugly".

But now the budding fashionista, who currently models for luxury fashion house Burberry, is putting her stylish spin on sustainable clothing by serving as creative adviser for a new collection by People Tree, a fair trade organization that aims to decrease poverty by providing jobs for people in third-world countries.

I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices, but there aren't many options out thereEmma Watson

She explains, "I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.
