Actress Emmy Rossum was secretly married to music mogul Justin Siegel before their recent split, according to a new report.

It was reported in U.S. tabloids earlier this week (07Aug09) that the Phantom Of The Opera star and producer Siegel had parted ways after calling off their long-term relationship.

They wanted to keep it private in order to prevent their marriage from coming underscrutiny

But the couple is actually filing for divorce after they wed in a secret ceremony two years ago, according to gossip blogger Perez Hilton.

A source tells the website, "Emmy and Justin decided to keep that part of their relationship a secret and out of the media spotlight. They wanted to keep it private in order to prevent their marriage from coming underscrutiny".
