Estelle is to perform at this year's Glastonbury music festival.
The British singer - who is currently number one in the UK singles chart with her song 'American Boy', featuring Kanye West - has been added to the line-up for the world famous event which takes place the weekend of June 27 to 29.
Estelle insists she is looking forward to performing and admits she can't wait to watch Jay-Z, who is a controversial choice to headline the historically rock festival, when he takes to the stage on the Saturday night (28.06.08).
She said: "Why shouldn't Jay-Z headline it? He's a worldwide global superstar, not just an urban artist. It's credible music, it's not like he's doing - and I don't mean any disrespect - Will Smith-style rapping. He's performing lyrics you can relate to."
The other headliners at this year's festival are Kings of Leon and recently reformed band The Verve, who play on Friday night (27.06.08) and Sunday evening (29.06.08) respectively.
