Eva Green says method actors like Daniel Day-Lewis are "pretentious".
The 'Casino Royale' star would never consider staying in character when she leaves a movie set because it would annoy her loved ones.
When asked if she finds it easy to come out of character after a day's shooting, Eva told GQ magazine: "Well, I am not Daniel Day-Lewis. It is a bit pretentious to come home and remain in character. Can you imagine? It must be pretty hard to live with.

"I'm sure Daniel Day-Lewis is very sweet but if he takes some of those roles home with him then it must be quite tense. I wouldn't want to be his wife."
Oscar-winning actor Day-Lewis is renowned for immersing himself in his movie roles.
When he played disabled man Christy Brown in 1989's 'My Left Foot' he remained in a wheelchair for several weeks.
He also reportedly terrified people on the set of 2002 movie 'Gangs of New York' by sharpening knives once cameras had stopped rolling as he perfected the role of murderous Bill 'The Butcher'.
