'Finding Nemo' is being turned into a stage musicalThe 2003 animated adventure - about a father fish who searches the seven seas for his son after he is scooped up by a diver - will be performed in a 1,500-seat theatre at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park in Orlando, Florida, from January 2007.According to producers, the 30-minute musical extravaganza will feature tap-dancing sharks, bike-riding puppets and a punk rock performance by great white shark Bruce. The show is the first time that Disney has made a musical out of a non-musical animated movie. In the stage version, the main characters - Nemo, Marlin and Dory - will appear as animated puppets operated by live performers. In order to recreate the underwater feel producers will use a mix of animated backdrops, special lighting, sounds and effects.Entry to 'Finding Nemo: The Musical' will be included in the price of regular admission to the Animal Kingdom park - which already boasts a number of attractions based on movies, including the thrill-ride 'Dinosaur' and a 3D film inspired by the Disney/Pixar hit 'A Bug's Life' entitled 'It's Tough To Be A Bug'.
