Former Friends star David Schwimmer is preparing to sacrifice his career in the hope of finding love.Schwimmer, who has became a successful director since the end of the hit comedy series in 2003, admits he has always put his career before his love life.But the 40-year-old does not want to grow old alone and is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.He tells Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine, "I look at someone like Courteney Cox and see how happy she is, but I've always put work first and now I have no wife and no family."My mom would love to see me settled, as she thinks it will make my life complete."The actor, who spent ten months in London directing Run, Fat Boy, Run last year (06) reveals he will begin looking for a wife in the English capital.He says, "I do like British girls - especially their sense of humour."Schwimmer also disappointed hoards of Friends fans by categorically ruling out an imminent reunion.

The hit series ended in 2004 but fans have been clamouring for bosses to revive the comedy for one last show.

But Schwimmer tells Cosmopolitan magazine it's unlikely: "I've never had a letter, conversation or meeting about doing it. It just hasn't happened".
