Stars Pay Tribute To Gary Speed

Gary Barlow, Cheryl Cole, Ronan Keating and TV newsman Piers Morgan are among the U.K. celebrities who have paid tribute to late British soccer star Gary Speed, who was found dead on Sunday (27Nov11).
The sportsman's body was discovered at his home in Chester, England in an apparent suicide. He was 42.
News of Speed's unexpected death shocked soccer fans and Take That star Barlow, Boyzone singer Keating and CNN host Morgan have taken to their Twitter.com blogs to remember the Welsh national team manager.
Barlow writes, "Just got home to watch football and can't believe the news.So sad", while Keating adds, "Cant (sic) believe Gary Speed is gone. So sad. God bless his family and friends at this time."
Cole tweets, "So sad to hear of the tragic news about Gary Speed.. My thoughts are with Gary's family and friends at this sad time R.I.P", while Morgan writes, "Shocking news about Gary Speed.
"Wonderful player and great guy. Deepest sympathy to his poor family... Met Gary with Alan Shearer & their wives in France this summer, seemed such a cheerful, carefree guy. Heart wrenches for his family. RIP".
British rappers Plan B and Tinchy Stryder and former Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp have also sent their condolences to Speed's family via the micro-blogging site.
