George Clooney is to testify against two waitresses suing his pal Rande Gerber for sexual harassment.
The restaurateur, who is married to Cindy Crawford, is facing a messy legal spat with two former female employees after they accused him of firing them from a restaurant in San Diego, California for ignoring his alleged advances - and those of the venue's managers.
But Clooney, who witnessed an alleged kissing incident one of the girls suing Gerber has recalled in legal papers, has agreed to take the stand on behalf of his pal.
Gerber and Mr Clooney will take lie detector tests to prove that the allegations against Mr Gerber are false
Gerber calls the claims a "blatant lie" and has named movie star Clooney among his witnesses.
A rep for Gerber tells Tmz, "Mr. Gerber and Mr Clooney will take lie detector tests to prove that the allegations against Mr Gerber are false.
"Mr. Gerber will not settle this extortion case even for a single dollar and will take all actions necessary to clear his name, including filinga $10 million lawsuit for malicious prosecution once these allegations are proven false".
