Girls Aloud Defend Winehouse....
British pop group Girls Aloud have defended troubled singer Amy Winehouse - heralding her as the most talented artist to come out of the U.K. for decades.
The girlband are proud that the Rehab star hails from Britain and hope she will be able to put her personal problems behind her in the future.
Singer Nadine Coyle tells Mtv.co.uk, "Amy Winehouse is just such a talent, her voice has brought something back that hasn't been around for decades".
Bandmate Cheryl Cole adds, "She's absolutely amazing, she's so talented I feel really proud that she's British and she's in America. It's a shame that her personal life overshadows the talent".
The Chemistry hitmakers' staunch defence of Winehouse comes after the star was booed during the opening concert of her U.K. tour in Birmingham, England on Wednesday (14Nov07). Furious fans walked out of the gig, slamming the singer's "incoherent" performance.
