Pop punks Good Charlotte have been announced as the unlikely support act for Justin Timberlake's upcoming U.S. arena tour.The group, fronted by brothers Benji and Joel Madden, will join Timberlake on tour in his native Tennessee in August (07).The rockers' support slots will include two nights at New York's Madison Square Garden in August and end with a pair of shows at Los Angeles' Staples Center in mid-September. Good Charlotte for med in 1996 and got their name from a children's book by Carol Beach York entitled "Good Charlotte: The Girls of Good Day Orphanage."But it wasn't until their 2002 album release The YOung and the Hopeless that the band crossed into the mainstream, the abum went on to become triple platinum selling 3 million copies.The band's layest album Good Morning Revival was released in March and entered the top 10 in 13 countries including America.Justin Timberlake's US tour dates are part of his Sexy Back world tour promoting his latest album FutureSex/LoveSounds which has sold 6.6 million copies worldwide to date.
