Gordan Ramsay Slams U.s. Law....

British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has shocked fans in the U.S. by mocking the country's law system. The star, who fronts reality TV show Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, also took the opportunity to criticise restaurateur Martin Hyde, who filed a $1 million (£500,000) lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in New York against the star in June (07).He says, "We were issued a writ because, God Bless America, if the toilet paper is not thick enough, and you come out with a rash on your ass (you'll be sued).Hyde accused Ramsay of staging incidents on the series, which sees the chef makeover struggling eateries in one week.He alleged Ramsay falsely claimed fresh meat was spoiled and actors were employed to pose as customers in a bid to make the restaurant look busy. But Ramsay insists Hyde's allegations were unfounded. He adds, "This is supposed to be the most powerful nation, not the most pathetic."The idea of bringing mouldy food in and planting actors is a f**king joke.

There's a man who got very scared and very embarrassed about his lack of professionalism."

The case was thrown out of court earlier this month (Aug07), but lawyers acting on behalf of Hyde have vowed to challenge the decision.
