Green Day's UK shows

5 months ago 04th Jun 13:15

Green Day have dropped a hint that they are set to perform a series of UK shows.

The American rockers have recently toured the US as their alter egos, Foxboro Hot Tubs, and posted a cryptic message on their MySpace blog which suggests they're planning more performances.

The post read: "Thanks to all the Tub Heads for coming out for our first tour. Will there be more? I got you on my mind, England."

Foxboro Hot Tubs first released music via their website in December 2007. Shortly afterwards, it was rumoured that the band was actually an alias of Green Day - which the band themselves later confirmed.

They told MTV: "We think that the only similarity between the Foxboro Hot Tubs and Green Day is that we are the same band. That is basically the only similarity."

Foxboro Hot Tubs are not the first alias Green Day have worked under.

The band have previously released tracks as a masked rock group called The Network, releasing an album called 'Money. Money' in 2003.
