Michael Moore has revealed more detail about his planned follow-up to 'Farenheit 9/11' - but now says it isn't a sequel.
The filmmaker first announced plans for the documentary last week, himself calling it a sequel, but now says that isn't the case.
The documentary film - described by Michael as "dangerous" is due for release next year and has a working title of 'While America Sleeps'.
Speaking to the L.A. Times newspaper, Michael said: "I can't obviously tell you what I'm really up to, because I want to be able to finish."
Michael revealed that unlike 'Farenheit 9/11', it does not focus on war, but instead on America's global conduct and reputation.
He added: "We have a big, big mess, and I don't know if it can be cleaned up. The toxicity of the spill is just that great. Since I made 'Fahrenheit', our standing in the world had depleted to an even worse state.
"I am going to take a look at the empire we've created and ask the question, 'How did we get here?'"
