Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart to Adopt

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are in the process of expanding their family by adopting a little girl, according to U.S. reports.

Ford proposed to the former Ally McBeal actress on Valentine's Day (14Feb09), and is taking further steps to cement their seven-year relationship.

According to reports, he plans to make Flockhart's adopted son Liam, eight, his own child - and the pair will take custody of a daughter soon after.

A source tells Star magazine, "Harrison's begun the process of adopting Liam too. He's been a father figure to the boy almost since day one."

Ford, 66, has four other children from two previous marriages.

Flockhart adopted her son Lim as a newborn in 2001.
