Hayden Christensen & Rachel Bilson End Romance

Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson have officially called off their engagement and ended their relationship.
 
The couple, which announced plans to wed in early 2009, was rumored to be taking a break to re-evaluate its romance after Bilson was spotted out in Los Angeles without her engagement ring in June (10).
 
When asked about her planned nuptials, she told reporters: "No, no (wedding) plans... No nothing."
 
Now a spokesperson for the former The O.C. star has confirmed she is no longer dating Star Wars hunk Christensen.
 
Her rep simply tells People.com, "Yes, the engagement is off."
 
Reports suggest the couple struggled to maintain its relationship with Bilson, 28  living in Los Angeles and Christensen, 29, in his native Canada.
 
A source close to the actress says, "It just wasn't working out."
 
The stars met on the set of their 2007 sci-fi movie Jumper.
