Hilary Duff Lands New TV Deal

Former Disney star Hilary Duff is set to make a TV comeback - after signing a deal to star in her own series.

The actress/singer, 21, first found fame in teen show Lizzie McGuire in 2003 - before moving onto successful music and movie careers.

Hilary is an incredible versatile talent with a huge following whose career we know will continue to soar on Nbc.

Network executives at Nbc announced on Friday (14Nov08) that they've signed the actress to a new one-year deal.

In addition to her own show, Duff has also agreed to make guest appearances on other Nbc programmes.

A network spokesperson says, "Hilary is an incredible versatile talent with a huge following whose career we know will continue to soar on Nbc."
