The Matrix star Hugo Weaving has revealed he suffered from epilepsy as a teen.
At least, that's my excuse, anyway
The Australian actor was diagnosed with the brain disorder, which causes frequent seizures, when he was just 13, and Weaving admits his convulsions were so bad, he was banned from getting behind the wheel of a car.
He tells the New York Post, "I probably had one major seizure a year. Every now and then I'd fall down and wake up to someone saying, 'Are you OK?'... I don't drive as a result, because I couldn't get my licence".
The actor is now cleared to take a road test because he hasn't had an episode in 18 years.
However, Weaving insists he is just too lazy "I can't be bothered. It's easier to walk. At least, that's my excuse, anyway".
