I Am Legend Tops U.k. Box Office Chart....

Will Smith has started the new year on a high - his movie I Am Legend has debuted atop the first U.K. box office chart of 2008.The film, which stars Smith as the only man left on earth after a virus wipes out the world's population, took $13.1 million in its opening week of release, eclipsing The Golden Compass, which is in second place with $4.38 million.Last week's (ends28Dec07) most popular movie, Enchanted, slips down to number three with $4.3 million, while St. Trinian's and Alvin and the Chipmunks round out the top five at fourth and fifth place respectively.
