Will Smith turned down Matrix lead role

'I, Robot' actor Will Smith star has revealed that he turned down the part of Neo in 'The Matrix' because he was unable to understand the concept of the movie. "It's a hard movie to pitch. You know, everybody lives inside a computer. It was only when I saw it that I really got it," The Sun quoted Smith as saying.Smith, however, claims that he has no regrets for rejecting the 'prized' role because he feels that Keanu Reeves played Neo to perfection.
