Jada Pinkett Smith Buys Well For Anthony

Jada Pinkett Smith treated her actor pal Marc Anthony to the gift of charity for his birthday - by purchasing a water well in Africa in his name.
 
The Matrix Reloaded star wanted to come up with a special gift for the Latin superstar to celebrate his 41st birthday in September (10) after growing close to him during his recent guest stint on her TV hospital drama Hawthorne.
 
And instead of adding to his material possessions, the actress decided to present him with a gift that will keep giving to others less fortunate.
 
Speaking on U.S. TV show The Talk, she explains, "(I gave him) charity water for his birthday. We bought a well in Africa for his birthday.

"What Will and I are doing are buying wells in different communities all over Africa providing clean water. And it's got his (Anthony's) name on it."
