Actor James Corden has turned down the chance to extend his current Broadway stint so he can return to the U.K. and marry his fiancee.
The funnyman has earned rave reviews and a Tony Award nomination after transferring his hit One Man, Two Guvnors from London's West End to the New York stage.

But he admits he wasn't tempted by an offer to extend his six-month runat the Liberty Theatre - as he wants to get back to Britain to walk downthe aisle with partner Julia Carey.
He tells Britain's Sunday Mirror, "I'm here until September 1 and they wanted us to extend the run but I just couldn't. We have to get back to the U.K. to get married".
Corden has brought Carey and their son Max to live with him in the Big Apple and admits he's loving his time in the U.S. He adds, "Family life has been just C2ADbrilliant. We're living rightby Central Park. It's amazing, so amazing actually. It's C2ADeverything I've ever wanted. "My life could not be lovelier.
Max was one of the reasons I did the show to be honest.
I wanted to take him to America with Julia and for us tolive here for a few months so that when he's older we can say, 'You did that.' "Every day so far there's been a C2ADmoment where we are walking through the park or having a picnic and Jules and me look at each other and say, 'Oh my God, this is b**ody amazing.'"
