James Gandolfini only returned to Broadway to star in God Of Carnage because he was "looking for something to do".
The Sopranos actor has been hailed by theatre critics for his performance in the Yasmina Reza play, which officially opened on Sunday (22Mar09) at Manhattan's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.
Gandolfini knew the show would be "a bigger commitment than a film", but admits he was shocked by the stamina required to keep up with his rigorous new schedule.
