Lovesick Fonda Pined After Perry on Retreat

Jane Fonda's desperate attempts to relax on a recent retreat were in vain- the actress couldn't stop thinking about her new beau Richard Perry.

The 71-year-old veteran actress is so smitten with the music producer, who she began dating in June (09), that she tip-toed away from the meditation holiday in New Mexico to phone him.

But this afternoon I played hooky and drove into town where my BlackBerry (phone) would work and we spoke for long enough to ease the longing

She wrote on her blog, "We do three hours a day of seated meditation. Iam finding the meditation hard because I miss my sweetie. "Also, there's no signal in the valley where we are so I can't even call him when we get an occasional break.

But this afternoon I played hooky and drove into town where my BlackBerry (phone) would work and we spoke for long enough to ease the longing".
