Midler Gives Single Aniston Love Advice

Happily married Bette Midler wants to play matchmaker for Jennifer Aniston - because the single actress deserves to be "cherished".

Legendary entertainer Midler will celebrate her 25th wedding anniversary with husband Martin von Haselberg in December (09), and she's eager to share her dating advice with the former Friends star, who recently split from rocker John Mayer.

The singeractress insists Aniston, who was married to Brad Pitt and has been romanced by Vince Vaughn, needs to look for love away from Hollywood to find a man good enough for her.

Midler tells People.com, "She needs an exciting guy, like a race-car driver. I think she needs somebody who cherishes her, but also somebody who's going to give her a run for her money.

"She should find somebody who is really hot, who's not in show business. Somebody with a lot of money, and she should live the large life and forget about these a**holes. She's a great girl. She's got everything goingfor her".

But Midler admits she had high hopes for Aniston's 2005 relationship with Wedding Crashers actor Vaughn "I actually thought Vince Vaughn was great. He's hilarious, he's good-looking. I mean, I thought he had it all".

Midler admits to being a fan of R&B hitmaker NE-YO after he wowed the veteran entertainer at a recent New York concert.

Midler joined hundreds of young Ne-Yo fans to check out the So Sick singer's gig at Radio City Music Hall in February (09), after discovering she had a link to one of his backing dancers.

And Midler admits she was highly impressed with the energetic show.

She says, "The last person I saw that I thought was really good was Ne-Yo at Radio City. "We were the oldest people in the whole house and when 11 o clock came we had to get up and worm ourselves back to our house, like, 'Oh my god, it's past my bedtime!' But he was fantastic.

One of his girls is one of my old dancers from my old show. He was great and they were great and it was very nice to see him".
