Grey Recovering From Foot Surgery

Actress Jennifer Grey has undergone an operation to have a growth removedfrom her foot.

The Dirty Dancing star went under the knife to have the mass of nervoussystem tissues removed from her foot after suffering agonising pain since winning U.S. TV competition Dancing With The Stars in November (10).

The surgery was a success and she hopes to be back on her feet in no time.

In a series of posts on Twitter.com, Grey writes, "Hard to believe, butI just had my foot operated on, so hopefully I can walk again. Gotta dance. Miss u all. I guess that's the price of doing business when you kick a** like that at my age... haha. "I had a neuroma the size of a small city removed, I think I went down a shoe size on one foot.

After Dancing With The Stars it just got worse and worse, so do whatcha gotta do.

Pain is just a feeling.Then it's gone". Grey was nearly forced to pull out of the dancing competition after rupturing a disc in her back, but a minor operation fixed the injury.
