French: 'Saunders Is Doing Great Since Cancer All-Clear'

Harry Potter star Dawn French has opened up about her pal Jennifer Saunders' cancer battle - insisting the funnywoman is now doing "great" since receiving the all-clear earlier this year (10).

The Absolutely Fabulous star was diagnosed with breast cancer last October (09), but remained silent about her struggle until she was given the all-clear by doctors in June (10).

French admits she is proud of her friend for putting up such a brave fight against the deadly disease and she's relieved Saunders is now on the road to recovery.

She tells Britain's Daybreak show, "She's great actually. Yep, she's great. She dealt with it. The way she deals with everything.

"She's a magnificent woman and she's very good actually at the moment, she's good... She's very good."
