Jessica Lange has now been secretly single for two years.
She separated from partner of 27 years, actor/playwright Sam Shepard, in 2009.
People.com reported that the couple called off their romance but decided not to publicise the news.
The couple began dating in 1982 and now have two children together, Hannah and Samuel, but despite this a source said that, “They both are pursuing independent lives.”
Lange’s representative has now confirmed the split.
