Maddens And Grenier Warned Over Surfing

Rockers Benji and Joel Madden and Entourage star Adrian Grenier clashed with cops at the weekend (Jun13-14) - after they caused a commotion by surfing in California.

The Good Charlotte stars and Grenier were among a number of celebritiesattending Oakley's Learn to Ride surf camp in Santa Barbara.

The police threatened to kick all of the celebrities off of the beach because (the event) was causing too much of a commotion. One of the neighbours called and complained because of all the cameras and noise

But the famous faces caused such a stir filming the event, police were called by local residents to halt the proceedings.

Former Saved By the Bell star Mario Lopez and The Hills actress Lo Bosworth managed to quickly move down the beach before officers turned up.

But Grenier and the Madden brothers were still in the sea when officials arrived and threatened to make them leave altogether.

A source tells the New York Daily News, "The police threatened to kick all of the celebrities off of the beach because (the event) was causing too much of a commotion. One of the neighbours called and complained because of all the cameras and noise".
