Beloved stage and screen star Joan Roberts has died of congestive heart failure at her Home in Connecticut.
The actress, who originated the role of Laurey in the 1943 Broadway production of hit musical Oklahoma!, died on Monday, aged 95.
The sad news comes just weeks after another Oklahoma! leading lady, Celeste Holm, passed away - the deaths mean that no one from the original Cast is alive.
Roberts was born Josephine Seagrist in New York and grew up dreaming of the bright Lights of Broadway while working as a film extra in Astoria, Queens.
After the success of Oklahoma!, she signed a film deal with movie mogul David O. Selznick.
She returned to Broadway in 2001 for the revival of Follies.
