on his new baby boy after discovering his Sherlock Holmes co-star had become a dad again from a reporter in Japan.

Downey, Jr.'s producer wife Susan gave birth to Exton Elias Downey, thecouple's first child, in Los Angeles on 7 February (12), but the Brit had no idea - and was caught off-guard when he was asked about his thoughtson the newborn while promoting the movie's sequel on Thursday (16Feb12).

A surprised Law replied, "I didn't know the baby was born. Is that true?! Wow! I didn't know. I knew it was expected. When? Am Ilate? How long ago? Last week? I feel terrible".

Downey, Jr., who also has an 18-year-old son named Indio from a previous relationship, did not attend the premiere of Sherlock Holmes A Game ofShadows in Tokyo.
