Margulies/Clooney ER Finale Filmed in Complete Secrecy

Julianna Margulies' reunion with TV husband George Clooney was so top secret, it had to be filmed far away from Hollywood - and without the knowledge of ER bosses.

The actress returned to the show, as Nurse Carol Hathaway, to appear inthe medical drama's final episodes.

Her reunion with Clooney aired in America last week (12Mar09), and Margulies reveals it was filmed like a covert operation.

She tells TV Guide magazine, "My last episode was done in complete secrecy. George flew from Burbank and I flew from Lax (Los Angeles airport), and we met in Seattle with only (ER creator) John Wells and our director of photography. "We rented a house, I did my hair and make-up in a guest bathroom.

NBC didn't even see it until the day it aired

JohnWells took the film and locked it in his safe.
